Job Summary
Join our customer’s team as a Javanese Language Expert, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting high-impact language initiatives. As a key contributor, you will ensure accuracy and cultural nuance in all aspects of Javanese language communication. Your expertise will help bridge gaps and facilitate seamless interactions across diverse contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and localize documents, content, and communications to and from Javanese with cultural and contextual accuracy.
- Conduct linguistic reviews and quality assurance to maintain the highest standards of language use.
- Support cross-functional teams by providing expert advice on Javanese language nuances.
- Develop, edit, and proofread written materials in Javanese for various projects.
- Participate in the creation of glossaries, style guides, and best practices for Javanese language projects.
- Deliver clear verbal and written communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate remotely with global team members, ensuring smooth communication and project progression.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Fluency and native-level proficiency in Javanese, with a strong grasp of regional dialects and variations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Javanese and English.
- Demonstrated experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance.
- Deep cultural understanding and sensitivity specific to Javanese-speaking communities.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
