Job Summary:

Join our team as a Security Engineer and play a pivotal role in safeguarding digital assets across diverse platforms. As an expert in penetration testing and ethical hacking, you'll identify vulnerabilities and champion proactive security strategies while collaborating remotely with a passionate and innovative group.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and simulated attacks to evaluate system security.
  • Perform in-depth vulnerability assessments and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and refine security protocols and best practices tailored to the customer's needs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Continuously monitor emerging threats and recommend timely risk mitigation strategies.
  • Document and present detailed security assessment reports, remediation steps, and improvement plans.
  • Lead incident response investigations, ensuring rapid containment and resolution.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in penetration testing, ethical hacking, and vulnerability engineering.
  • Strong background in security frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nessus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and team collaboration.
  • Ability to independently drive tasks in a remote, part-time environment.
  • Experience with incident response, threat modeling, and remediation planning.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current security threats, exploits, and best practices.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CISSP.
  • Previous experience working with global or distributed customer teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering security improvements in fast-moving environments.
