Job Summary:
Join our team as a Security Engineer and play a pivotal role in safeguarding digital assets across diverse platforms. As an expert in penetration testing and ethical hacking, you'll identify vulnerabilities and champion proactive security strategies while collaborating remotely with a passionate and innovative group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and simulated attacks to evaluate system security.
- Perform in-depth vulnerability assessments and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop, implement, and refine security protocols and best practices tailored to the customer's needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls throughout the development lifecycle.
- Continuously monitor emerging threats and recommend timely risk mitigation strategies.
- Document and present detailed security assessment reports, remediation steps, and improvement plans.
- Lead incident response investigations, ensuring rapid containment and resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in penetration testing, ethical hacking, and vulnerability engineering.
- Strong background in security frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nessus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and team collaboration.
- Ability to independently drive tasks in a remote, part-time environment.
- Experience with incident response, threat modeling, and remediation planning.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current security threats, exploits, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CISSP.
- Previous experience working with global or distributed customer teams.
- Proven track record of delivering security improvements in fast-moving environments.
