Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise networks built on Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, and ACI solutions.
- Lead the deployment and configuration of advanced routing protocols, including VRF, BGP, MP-BGP, and OSPF.
- Drive ACI fabric deployments, policy setups, tenant segmentation, and manage integration with external networks.
- Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and hardware refresh projects involving supervisors, line cards, and other critical components.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable Azure Landing Zones and establish robust hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Automate network provisioning and configuration using Terraform, ensuring repeatability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex, mission-critical network issues to maintain high availability and optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with internal cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless alignment with business needs and security standards.
- Develop clear, detailed documentation and provide mentorship to junior engineers and operations staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, including advanced configuration and migration.
- Expertise in Cisco ACI multi-tenant design, policy creation, contracts, and integrating with external connectivity.
- In-depth knowledge of core routing and switching, including VRF, BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols.
- Proven experience with Azure Landing Zones and hybrid network integrations (e.g., ExpressRoute, VNets).
- Proficiency in automating infrastructure with Terraform and leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in large-scale, high-availability environments.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in both written and verbal forms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in network monitoring and implementing operational best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud security controls and compliance standards.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or Azure Network Engineer Associate.
