Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Retail- AI Trainer, where your deep retail expertise will directly shape innovative AI solutions for the industry. You will translate your hands-on experience in merchandising, inventory, store operations, or retail planning into operational frameworks, SOPs, and AI training content rooted in real-world workflows and decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop detailed operational documents, standard operating procedures, and prompts tailored for advanced retail AI training.
  2. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure AI models accurately reflect authentic retail processes and scenarios.
  3. Create and refine rubrics for evaluating AI output, emphasizing practical retail decision-making and scenario handling.
  4. Leverage your retail experience to identify potential gaps and opportunities in AI training datasets and workflows.
  5. Maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout all documentation and training processes.
  6. Engage in iterative feedback cycles to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of AI-driven retail solutions.
  7. Communicate findings, challenges, and recommendations clearly and professionally across cross-functional teams.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in merchandising, store operations, inventory management, or retail planning.
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and accuracy.
  3. Proven attention to detail in documentation, process design, and quality assurance.
  4. Demonstrated ability to articulate complex operational concepts for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  5. Strong organizational and time-management skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  6. Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and fully remote environment.
  7. Enthusiasm for bridging the gap between real-world retail challenges and AI-driven solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Hands-on experience developing SOPs or operational guidelines for retail environments.
  2. Exposure to AI, machine learning, or data analytics projects within a retail context.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, supply chain, or a related discipline.
