Job Title: Breton Bilingual Expert

Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Breton Bilingual Expert, where your expertise will directly contribute to advanced linguistic projects. You will leverage your fluency in both Breton and English to transcribe, analyze, and contextualize language in multimedia content, playing a key role in preserving and advancing linguistic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe video content with meticulous attention to linguistic accuracy and cultural context.
- Clearly mark and outline timestamps to ensure precise reference points within material.
- Describe and interpret the emotional undertones and intent of speakers.
- Analyze grammatical structures, vocabulary, and tone at a nuanced and complex level.
- Define conceptual aspects of words and phrases, capturing subtle distinctions in meaning.
- Deliver detailed written and verbal communication to support language-related tasks and projects.
- Collaborate with the customer's team to ensure high-quality linguistic deliverables for a variety of use cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Breton and English, with exceptional written and verbal abilities in both languages.
- Demonstrated experience in transcription, language analysis, or similar linguistic fields.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver precise, accurate work under minimal supervision.
- Deep understanding of and sensitivity to the cultural and emotional context of language.
- Ability to commit at least 15 hours per week to ongoing tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a proven record of managing multiple assignments efficiently.
- Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills applied to language tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic background in linguistics, translation, or language studies.
- Experience working on complex language annotation or natural language processing projects.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for remote linguistic work.
