This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to bridge frontline policing expertise with modern technology, contributing to the development of intelligent, effective, and ethical training systems for law enforcement professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of AI trainers and policing professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, realistic law enforcement simulations and scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, AI engineers, and content developers to incorporate best practices and operational procedures into AI-based training modules.
- Review, validate, and refine AI-generated law enforcement responses, interventions, and decision-making processes for accuracy and integrity.
- Provide expert insight into real-world policing and detective work, ensuring training content meets evolving industry standards and ethical guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, implementing improvements based on feedback and performance analytics.
- Document processes, insights, and suggested improvements in clear, concise written reports and presentations.
- Facilitate ongoing communication with stakeholders, maintaining transparency and fostering a collaborative virtual environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a supervisor in law enforcement (e.g., police sergeant, detective supervisor, or similar role).
- Strong knowledge of police and investigative procedures, policies, and community policing principles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex policing concepts into actionable training materials for AI models.
- Comfortable working remotely and leveraging digital collaboration tools.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with a passion for fostering innovation and ethical standards.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both policing practices and AI technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or specialized training in criminal justice, law enforcement leadership, or technology integration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams in a virtual environment.
