Job Summary:

Join our esteemed customer's team as a Bengali (India) Voice Actor and play a pivotal role in training cutting-edge AI language models. Leverage your voice acting expertise and high-quality recording setup to deliver authentic and emotionally engaging audio content. This remote and flexible role allows you to make a significant impact while working with one of the world’s leading AI labs.

Note: It is highly preferred that you participate in the interview using your best audio equipment and full recording setup, as you will be asked to perform an emotional reading with your gear during the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record high-quality voice samples in Bengali (India) for AI training purposes.
  • Deliver emotionally nuanced performances as required by various scripts and prompts.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and audio engineers to meet stringent quality standards.
  • Maintain a consistent, clear, and expressive vocal tone across all recordings.
  • Participate in scheduled assignments, providing at least 20 hours of recording per week.
  • Utilize and maintain your personal audio equipment and recording environment to ensure professional audio quality.
  • Attend remote interviews using your full setup, including a live reading with emotional expression.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Native or near-native fluency in Bengali (India), with clear diction and pronunciation.
  • Proven experience in professional voice acting or relevant audio performances.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail in script interpretation.
  • Access to a professional audio recording setup (examples: EMU 404 USB Audio Interface, AKG P220 mic, AKG K271 Mk2 headphones, or Rode NT1 microphone).
  • Capability to produce studio-quality, noise-free audio files.
  • Commitment to work at least 20 hours per week, with reliable time management.
  • Strong ability to convey a wide range of emotions vocally as dictated by project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on AI training, dubbing, or similar audio projects.
  • Familiarity with advanced audio editing or sound engineering tools.
  • Previous experience in remote voice acting roles using high-end audio equipment.
