Job Description

Job Title: IT Operations Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote

The Role

Join our team as an IT Operations Manager, leading IT systems, access, security, and user support across a fast-growing organization. You’ll build a scalable, secure IT environment—owning everything from identity management and automation to endpoint security and hardware lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Own core IT operations, including identity/access management, endpoint security, and user lifecycle processes.
  2. Manage MDM/EDR platforms (e.g., Jamf), ensuring device compliance and secure software deployment.
  3. Implement and maintain SSO/IdP integrations across tools (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, AWS, GCP, etc.).
  4. Oversee IT support—resolving access issues, installs, and troubleshooting while improving user experience.
  5. Automate onboarding/offboarding workflows to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
  6. Own enterprise software management—access control, vendor oversight, license optimization, and procurement governance.
  7. Manage the laptop lifecycle (procurement → provisioning → refresh → deprovisioning) and hardware inventory.
  8. Partner with Talent Ops, Finance, and Security on onboarding, budgeting, and compliance.
  9. Continuously improve IT processes, documentation, and scalability.

What We're Looking For

  1. Experience in IT operations, systems administration, or IT infrastructure.
  2. Strong knowledge of MDM/EDR and endpoint management.
  3. Experience with SSO/IdP and SaaS ecosystems (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.).
  4. Background in enterprise software and vendor management.
  5. Ability to drive automation and process improvements.
  6. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

  1. Experience in high-growth or startup environments.
  2. Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or similar.
  3. Exposure to security best practices and compliance.
  4. Experience with IT automation tools or workflows.
