Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Project Finance Specialist to help shape the future of financial data intelligence. In this role, you will empower leading-edge AI initiatives by training robust models using real-world financial artifacts, guiding data structuring, and developing better understanding of complex, ambiguous data sets. Collaborate with experts across finance-adjacent domains and drive impactful results within a flexible, remote setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Seed and curate diverse, messy real-world financial data for AI model training.
  2. Evaluate and interpret spreadsheets, partial models, and ambiguous inputs to improve AI comprehension.
  3. Guide the model in reconstructing, normalizing, and extending finance artifacts under minimal initial structure.
  4. Provide clear written and verbal feedback to enhance model accuracy and performance.
  5. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to adapt training approaches in a dynamic project environment.
  6. Identify gaps in AI understanding and propose targeted seeding strategies.
  7. Maintain meticulous documentation throughout all stages of the data curation and AI training process.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Strong background in project finance or related financial domains.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  3. Experience working with complex, unstructured or messy financial data in spreadsheets and reports.
  4. Familiarity with AI model training concepts and data annotation/curation best practices.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  6. Creative problem-solving skills in navigating ambiguous information and incomplete datasets.
  7. Comfort with iterative data structuring, seeding projects, and flexible requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience contributing to finance-adjacent AI or machine learning projects.
  2. Exposure to seeding, reconstructing, or normalizing in-the-wild financial artifacts.
  3. Based in US, Canada, UK, or EU to collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams.
