Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Corporate Counsel - AI trainer and help shape the future of technology law, compliance, and AI governance. In this dynamic, fully remote role, you will leverage your legal expertise to guide cross-functional teams and develop cutting-edge AI training solutions that address complex regulatory challenges. Become an integral driver in navigating legal frameworks and empowering innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging AI training modules focused on data privacy, protection, and regulatory compliance for internal stakeholders.
  • Advise on cross-border data transfer, localization requirements, and emerging legal standards impacting AI and technology deployments.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with a focus on data-driven projects and compliance with evolving regional and global laws (GDPR, DORA, EU AI Act, DSA, DMA, EU Data Act, etc.).
  • Monitor legislative developments and proactively update internal policies and training content to ensure continued compliance.
  • Serve as a trusted in-house resource, answering inquiries and providing practical, timely legal guidance to the customer's team.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed privacy-by-design and responsible AI practices into development lifecycles.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and represent the organization in relevant legal and industry forums.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as in-house counsel or advisor to corporate clients specializing in technology law, regulatory compliance, or data protection.
  • Expertise in GDPR, DORA, EU Data Act, EU AI Act, DSA, DMA, and cross-border data transfer/localization laws.
  • Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex technology and data-related contracts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen focus on clarity and training effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience translating legal concepts into accessible, actionable guidance for diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and adept at thriving in fast-paced, remote environments.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks or hands-on involvement in AI legal risk assessments.
  • Experience developing and delivering legal or compliance training in a corporate setting.
  • Multijurisdictional legal experience, particularly in technology-driven organizations.
