Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and dedicated German Voice Actor to join our customer’s team for an exciting AI training project. This remote, part-time opportunity is ideal for voice artists passionate about high-quality audio production and linguistic precision. You’ll have the chance to contribute your voice to cutting-edge technology initiatives for a major AI lab client.

Please note: the interview and project recordings must be conducted using your best audio setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clear, natural, and expressive German voice recordings for AI model training purposes.
  • Read and interpret provided scripts, conveying the required emotions and intent.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and audio engineers to meet quality standards.
  • Maintain consistent audio quality using your own professional-grade recording equipment.
  • Participate in remote interviews and auditions using your personal recording setup.
  • Adhere to project timelines by committing a minimum of 20 hours per week for voice sessions.
  • Follow feedback and direction to refine performances and achieve optimal results for the client’s project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Native or near-native fluency in German, with excellent pronunciation and diction.
  • Demonstrated voice acting experience with a strong portfolio or sample recordings.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Access to reliable, high-quality audio equipment and a suitable recording environment. (Please provide examples of your setup.)
  • Ability to express a wide range of emotions and adapt tone as directed.
  • Strong commitment to deadlines and flexible availability for ongoing remote work.
  • Comfortable with auditioning and interviews using your home recording setup, including performing emotional reads and script passages live.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recording for AI, speech recognition, or technology-focused projects.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard equipment such as EMU 404 usb Audio interface, AKG P220 mic, AKG K271 Mk2 headphones, or Rode NT1 microphone.
  • Background in acting, broadcasting, or professional audio production.

Note: It is highly preferred that you participate in the interview using your best audio equipment and full recording setup, as you will be asked to perform an emotional reading with your gear during the process.
