Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Mortgage File Review Associate and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of complex mortgage documentation. You will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, validating, and organizing large, structured financial packages, directly supporting the reliability and compliance of critical lending processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review detailed mortgage credit files and associated financial documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and categorize various document types within large file packages.
- Validate extracted fields against original source documents, such as purchase agreements, tax returns, pay stubs, and property records.
- Check document segmentation and page boundaries to confirm correct organization.
- Ensure that all structured data aligns precisely with the underlying financial documents.
- Conduct consistency checks across files to guarantee accurate labeling and extracted value integrity.
- Verify correct and thorough application of PII tokenization throughout each package, flagging discrepancies or missing data for further review.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Exceptional document review and organizational abilities, with proven attention to detail.
- Robust financial literacy, particularly in income, tax, mortgage, or credit-related documentation.
- Expertise in comparing structured data sets against original documents with high accuracy.
- Comfort and efficiency working with lengthy, multi-page PDF document packages.
- Ability to work independently, adhering closely to project protocols and quality standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen focus on clarity and accuracy.
- Fluency in English required.

- Experience in mortgage operations, loan processing, or underwriting support.
- Background in financial back-office support, document compliance, or quality control.
