Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as an Infrastructure Engineer and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable enterprise infrastructure. You will collaborate with talented professionals in a dynamic remote environment, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across all systems. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by enhancing the technological foundation that drives our customer's organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Implement and maintain robust security practices and compliance standards across environments.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
- Optimize cost, performance, and resiliency of infrastructure resources through strategic planning and monitoring.
- Create comprehensive documentation and deliver clear, effective written and verbal communication to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Expert-level experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong background in networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Deep understanding of containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Advanced troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant cloud or infrastructure certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Prior work experience supporting global or distributed teams in a fully remote context.
