About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong background in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud environments in line with client standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build AWS infrastructure following client standards (ALB, Domain, WAF, ACL, EC2, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Secure cloud environments (WAF, Routing, Policies, SSO/MFA setup)
  • Patch and maintain infrastructure (EC2, Databases, Web Servers, Applications)
  • Perform infrastructure upgrades, EOL/EOS migrations, and related improvements
  • Create and manage IAM roles, access controls, and security policies
  • Enable, monitor, and secure AWS services as required
  • Set up cost guardrails, reporting, and cost optimization measures
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and availability
  • Manage tickets, incidents, and escalations efficiently
  • Ensure platform and data compliance with organizational standards
  • Conduct audits and address findings as necessary
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting support


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, WAF, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Familiarity with security best practices, compliance, and auditing processes
  • Experience in patch management, monitoring, and cost optimization
  • Excellent troubleshooting and incident management skills
  • AWS Certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator) is a plus
