Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as an Accountant - AI tutor, where you will pioneer the next generation of AI tools for analyzing complex commercial property Business Interruption insurance claims. Your expertise will help build a production-ready reinforcement learning environment that fine-tunes foundation models in a high-stakes, reasoning-intensive insurance domain. Be at the forefront of combining forensic accounting with cutting-edge AI, driving innovation and excellence in claims analysis.


Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret commercial property insurance policies, focusing on fire, flood, equipment breakdown, and supply chain claims.

• Review, document, and write incident specifications using actual policy language.

• Utilize financial and accounting data to conduct detailed policy analyses and support AI training tasks.

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to annotate and review complex insurance scenarios, aiding the development of advanced reward models.

• Create comprehensive documentation for policy interpretation and claims calculations.

• Ensure clarity and accuracy in written and verbal communication across multidisciplinary teams.

• Contribute to the creation and refinement of rubrics and grading metrics for AI evaluation.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in forensic accounting and auditing, with a strong analytical and investigative mindset.

• Expertise in handling and analyzing insurance claims, particularly business interruption and property-related incidents.

• Proficiency in policy interpretation, incident documentation, and financial data analysis.

• In-depth understanding of legal frameworks relevant to insurance and claims resolution.

• Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate remotely in a dynamic, production-focused team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and capacity to work with complex technical documentation.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with prompt engineering and chain-of-thought prompts in AI/ML settings.

• High typing speed and experience creating educational rubrics, with a background in teaching or grading.

• Familiarity with systematic model evaluation and reinforcement learning environments.
