Key Responsibilities

1. Provide expert clinical insights for the development and refinement of AI models supporting emergency medical decision-making.
2. Evaluate, annotate, and review clinical data to ensure accuracy and relevance to real-world emergency scenarios.
3. Collaborate with AI developers, data scientists, and other healthcare professionals to align AI outputs with best practices in emergency medicine.
4. Assess and validate AI recommendations for immediate recognition, evaluation, stabilization, and disposition of patients.
5. Contribute to the creation and review of medical guidelines and protocols integrated within AI systems.
6. Direct simulated emergency cases to ensure AI applications mirror the complexities of actual emergency department workflows.
7. Offer feedback on AI performance to continuously improve its reliability and clinical impact.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Board-certified (or eligible) Emergency Medicine Physician (MD or DO) with active clinical experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to make rapid, high-stakes medical decisions under pressure.
3. Deep understanding of acute care, stabilization, and patient disposition in emergency settings.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and detail.
5. Comfort with technology and data-driven tools in a clinical context.
6. Experience in training, supervision, or direct leadership of emergency medical staff.
7. Ability to critically appraise medical data and guidelines for integration into AI systems.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior experience in AI/ML projects or medical informatics.
2. Published research or guideline development in emergency medicine or related disciplines.
3. Previous involvement in curriculum development or clinical training programs.
