Job Description

Job Title: Tajik Language Expert


Job Type: Contractor


Location: Remote


Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Translate a variety of texts and content from English to Tajik and vice versa with high linguistic accuracy.
  2. Edit and proofread Tajik language content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with AI trainers and engineers to develop and refine AI language models for Tajik.
  4. Create and review data sets for use in language model training and evaluation.
  5. Conduct linguistic analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies in language usage.
  6. Provide cultural and contextual insights to enhance localization and natural language understanding.
  7. Deliver timely feedback and recommendations to improve content quality and AI model performance.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Native or near-native proficiency in Tajik, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Proven experience in translation, editing, and written communication for Tajik language projects.
  3. Strong attention to detail and a passion for linguistic precision.
  4. Solid understanding of language structure, grammar, and syntax in Tajik.
  5. Familiarity with language technology tools and basic AI or NLP concepts.
  6. Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
  7. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.



Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience as an AI language trainer or involvement in AI-driven linguistic projects.
  2. Background in teaching, linguistics, or related fields.
  3. Understanding of cultural nuances and trends in Tajik-speaking regions.
