Job Summary


Join our customer's team as a Linux-Based Post-Production Specialist (Cinelerra), where you will leverage your expertise to elevate professional video workflows in a dynamic and collaborative remote environment. You will optimize high-resolution media projects, tackle complex editing challenges, and contribute to broadcast-quality productions using the robust Cinelerra platform within Linux ecosystems.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Lead the editing, compositing, and finishing of high-resolution video using Cinelerra on Linux systems.
  2. Design and manage complex multi-track timelines with precision for professional broadcast and digital production.
  3. Implement advanced compositing techniques, including motion tracking, chroma keying, and effects layering.
  4. Optimize media handling and rendering pipelines to ensure efficient and seamless workflows.
  5. Troubleshoot technical issues related to codecs, formats, and hardware compatibility in Linux environments.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to refine creative vision and deliver assets on schedule.
  7. Maintain detailed documentation of post-production processes and best practices.



Required Skills and Qualifications


  1. Expert-level proficiency in Cinelerra and Linux-based video post-production workflows.
  2. Demonstrated ability to handle and optimize high-resolution media files.
  3. Strong experience with advanced compositing, motion tracking, and color grading.
  4. Keen attention to detail when managing complex timelines and layered projects.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on clear collaboration.
  6. Problem-solving aptitude and technical troubleshooting in a Linux ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications
