As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will leverage your mechanical engineering background to train and refine AI models, ensuring they reflect real-world engineering standards and practices. This unique opportunity allows you to shape the future of AI while working remotely with a passionate and collaborative group.


Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with AI development teams to train and validate AI models related to mechanical engineering concepts and applications.

• Analyze and annotate mechanical engineering data to enhance the accuracy and relevance of AI-driven solutions.

• Provide in-depth explanations and technical feedback on engineering tasks, including the design and maintenance of tools, machines, engines, and mechanical systems.

• Review AI-generated outputs for technical correctness, completeness, and industry alignment.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of training datasets by identifying gaps and ensuring high-quality annotations.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for mechanical engineering topics, offering guidance on standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.

• Communicate complex technical ideas clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated experience in the planning, design, installation, operation, maintenance, or repair of mechanical equipment (such as engines, centralized gas, water, steam, or heating systems).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to clarity and detail.

• Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Experience with mechanical design, product development, or project engineering roles (e.g., Application Engineer, Design Engineer, Product Engineer).

• Comfort with remote teamwork and digital collaboration tools.

• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in AI model training, data annotation, or machine learning projects.

• Familiarity with AI and automation technologies in engineering contexts.

• Advanced degree or professional certifications in mechanical engineering or related disciplines.
