Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a seasoned Network and Computer Systems Administrator, playing a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing secure, high-performance IT environments. This expert-level position uniquely offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the training of AI models, leveraging your infrastructure knowledge to shape the future of technology.


Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot network and computer systems to ensure optimal uptime and security.

• Collaborate with AI specialists to provide infrastructure insights that enhance AI model training and performance.

• Develop and maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and procedural guides with precise written communication.

• Implement robust backup, disaster recovery, and system update strategies.

• Proactively identify and resolve system, network, and security vulnerabilities.

• Participate in the design and deployment of system architecture improvements to support evolving project requirements.

• Communicate complex technical information clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expert-level experience in network and systems administration.

• Proficiency with server management (Windows/Linux), virtualization, and network protocols.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with documentation and process standardization.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with supporting AI training pipelines or data-intensive applications.

• Experience working on cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Prior involvement in projects intersecting IT and machine learning domains.
