Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Bilingual Document Annotator and play a critical role in ensuring the highest accuracy of structured data extraction from complex documents. You will validate, correct, and enrich AI-generated data from multi-page PDFs, ensuring every data point is precise and actionable. Your eye for detail and language expertise will directly contribute to the success of high-stakes document processing initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review AI-generated JSON data for accuracy, comparing it meticulously against source PDF documents.
  2. Validate extracted values and correct discrepancies, ensuring fields match exactly with the original content.
  3. Perform rigorous error detection and data validation, from tables to financial summaries across lengthy documents.
  4. Confirm that all mathematical calculations are precise, including cross-document totals and line item summations.
  5. Navigate and interpret nested JSON structures, ensuring each value is present in the correct schema location.
  6. Utilize advanced linguistic skills to annotate and correct documents in both supported languages.
  7. Provide detailed feedback on recurring errors and collaborate with team members to improve annotation quality.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proficiency in reading and navigating complex, multi-page PDFs with tables, formulas, and financial data.
  2. Exceptional attention to detail—one incorrect figure can compromise the data integrity.
  3. Advanced reading comprehension in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Bilingual proficiency with the ability to annotate and review documents in two languages.
  5. Familiarity with JSON files; able to verify field accuracy and schema placement.
  6. Solid experience in data validation, quality assurance, proofreading, or document annotation.
  7. Comfortable with basic mathematical validation and cross-referencing values.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Background in insurance, finance, legal, or government document processing.
  2. Previous experience working with structured data extraction tools or annotation platforms.
  3. Demonstrated ability to handle large volumes of detail-oriented work independently and efficiently.
