Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Mechatronics Technicians to join our team and help support the maintenance and optimization of our automated machinery. As valued members of our remote workforce, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and enhancing machine performance for diverse applications. This position is ideal for proactive, detail-oriented professionals with a strong commitment to both hands-on technical work and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automated machines and implement effective solutions.
- Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and adjustments on sensors, actuators, and control systems to ensure optimal machine function.
- Troubleshoot and repair robotic, pneumatic, and electromechanical components in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to recommend improvements and contribute to system upgrades.
- Document all service activities, repairs, and modifications with clear and thorough written reports.
- Provide technical support remotely, guiding team members or clients through diagnostics and repairs as needed.
- Adhere to safety standards and best practices in all maintenance and repair operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechatronics Technician, preferably in an automated or industrial environment.
- Proficient in diagnosing faults in complex machinery and adjusting sensors for proper machine operation.
- Experienced in servicing, maintaining, and repairing automated equipment and production lines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting with a high level of self-motivation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation software.
- Certification in mechatronics or relevant technical discipline.
