Job Title: Senior Backend Developer
Job Type: Part-time
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to become a key contributor within our customer's team. As a core team member, you will design, build, and optimize robust backend systems using Node.js, Python, and JAVA. If you are passionate about clean code, modern backend technologies, and effective communication, we would love to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless product experiences
- Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of backend systems
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates
- Document technical designs, processes, and system integrations clearly
- Actively contribute ideas and solutions during team discussions and planning
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with backend development
- Expertise in Node.js, Python, and JAVA
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
- Proven experience working with modern database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts simply
- Ability to thrive in a distributed, remote work environment
- Proactive mindset with a keen attention to detail and quality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Background in Agile or Scrum development methodologies
