Job Summary

Join our customer's team as an Energy Analyst and play a pivotal role in advancing energy efficiency, renewable integration, and building performance. You will leverage your expertise in energy modeling and data analysis while receiving comprehensive training on the specifics of the field, helping shape innovative solutions for sustainable energy systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed energy models to assess building performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Analyze large datasets using Excel, Python, and R to inform energy-saving strategies and validate simulation results.
  • Evaluate and implement renewable energy technologies, contributing to sustainable project outcomes.
  • Utilize software tools such as EnergyPlus and eQUEST for building performance simulation and scenario analysis.
  • Support the deployment and optimization of Energy Management Systems (EMS) for enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret technical findings and communicate recommendations effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Engage in ongoing training to deepen your expertise in thermodynamics, materials science, and advanced testing methodologies.



Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience with energy modeling and building performance simulation tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST).
  • Strong data analysis skills utilizing Excel, Python, or R.
  • Thorough understanding of renewable energy technologies and their application in building systems.
  • Familiarity with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Background in thermodynamics, materials science, and measurement techniques.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while thriving in a collaborative team setting.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CAD, FEA, or CFD for analysis of building systems and energy flows.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to energy technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with building performance testing and measurement.
