Join our customer's team as a Head Dialogue Manager (HDM), where you will play a pivotal role in coordinating dynamic audio conversations between professional voice actors. As the on-site leader, you will guide and direct creative dialogue sessions to ensure seamless execution and authentic performances. This is a unique opportunity to shape compelling audio storytelling in a collaborative, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate sessions between two voice acting experts, ensuring effective communication and smooth workflow.
- Relay creative instructions and manage in-session feedback to align with project objectives.
- Foster a professional, focused environment and motivate talent to deliver their best performances.
- Collaborate closely with in-person producers to manage dialogue flow and pacing.
- Monitor session progress and troubleshoot conversational or performance challenges.
- Document session highlights and relay feedback to stakeholders.
- Uphold the creative vision set forth by the customer's team throughout all recordings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience, primarily in directing (voice or stage), with some writing experience preferred.
- Proven studio engineering knowledge and ability to contribute to creative direction (no hardware management required).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to clarify, instruct, and inspire.
- Experience working with voice actors or performing artists in a studio or production setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Native English speaker with a deep understanding of conversational nuance and tone.
- Flexible, adaptive mindset and a commitment to collaborative excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in audio or podcast production teams.
- Background in creative writing for dialogue or scripts.
- Experience managing small creative teams in a studio environment.
